FAQS

WHY DO I NEED AN OUTSOURCED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE IN MY BUSINESS?

Legislation is changing accross the World and companies must provide not only a physical duty of care to their employees but a mental one as well. Businesses of all sizes need a Mental Health Policy to stay on the right side of the law.

Early adopters of Company Mental Health Policies are running into lawsuits and tribunals because of doing a partial job in-house. HR Professionals are not mental health experts and bringing people’s personal matters into the workplace creates a new flood of ‘sue-able’ problems.

Offshoot benefits of an outstanding Mental Health Policy delivered by Remedy Wellbeing include reduced absenteeism, improved retention, avoidance of serious HR liabilities and a massive uptick in overall productivity.

This is why we do what we do, and why it makes absolute economic common sense for companies Worldwide. Our complete outsourced solution requires no time from HR to implement or run the program, and for most companies costs just $8,000 usd per month.

WHAT IS THE COST?

The multi award winning Remedy @ Work Mental Health solution is availble at a fixed rate of just $8,000 pm for companies with under 250 employees.

For companies between 250 – 500 employees the Remedy at Work costs $15,000 pm. And for companies with 500 – 1,000 staff we have a dedicated team that can assist over multiple timezones for $28,500 pm.

AM I LOCKED INTO A CONTRACT

Remedy Wellbeing operates with fariness and transparency. You may cancel the service at any time with one months notice. The confidential and contractual elements of our business also stipulate that we are unable to continue providing service in the event of late or non-payment.

I ALREADY HAVE AN EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

REMEDY @ Work is not and never will become an EAP. We are part of Remedy Wellbeing, the most exclusive treatment center in the World, famed for providing bespoke and private care to Entrepreneurs, Celebrities, Royalty, Sportspeople, UHNWIs and Politicians. We extend this model to our business clients and all our crisis coaches and therapists work directly with Remedy. An EAP is (usually) an app through which your employees can access things like sleep advice and relaxation techniques. They are commendable to have but do not in any way satisfy Corporate Mental Health legislation.

WE WANT AN INTERNAL MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE AT OUR COMPANY

Problems arise from two angles. Firstly, when a business has no mental health program and secondly, when they have an intenal (and often incomplete) menal health policy in their workplace. the most common problems being:

  • The cost of training staff in Mental Health is high
  • The time of training these staff is long
  • There is a risk of employees becoming overloaded by problems
  • Legal implications of employees giving out unqualified advice to peers
  • Lack of adequate mental health supervision for the first aiders
  • Risk factors of having employees acting on non professional advice
  • A well meaning employee may miss the signals of violence or suicide
  • The loss in productivity of the designated mental health first aiders
  • No clearly defined referral pathway if a problems requires urgent therapeutic care

We are not here to convince you that you need a Corporate Mental Health Policy or even to use our services. However, we do represent the most thorough, cost effective and professional solution in the World.
